We’re back on the R&B hour on Huntington Park 191.0 Spartan Shield. We got all the new hits from Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga to the Weeknd, but today we got something a little special here at Spartan Shield. SZA’s brand new critically acclaimed album LANA a deluxe of her beloved S.O.S. So, sit back, relax, and have a little listen.
The newest album from pop/r&b star SZA is LANA, a deluxe version of her latest album S.O.S. At the time of writing S.O.S has sold around 7 million units in the united states and LANA has sold 178,000 units within its first week of release and sent the S.O.S album as a whole soaring back on the top of the Billboard top 200.
SZA’s original 2023 album S.O.S has been her second most successful and praised album that topped the charts and dominated the radio waves of the US for months. Her original album garnered a whopping 10 Billion streams on Spotify. A lot of this can be attributed to the most popular song off the album being Kill Bill which has over 2.3 Billion Streams alone. Which surprisingly is nothing new to SZA, the rest of her album has also totalled up to that 10 billion number with many of her songs getting hundred of millions of streams and more daily streams that continue to raise those streaming numbers.
Now many might ask what does this deluxe album have that’s so much better than the original? I mean obviously S.O.S already delivered dozens of hits and some! Well, SZA added 15 new tracks to the album making the album one hour and fifty four minutes long. All of the newest additions to the album are the first 15 tracks which are all brand new amazing songs.
Every new song is definitely a breath of fresh air and has SZA’s unique style that has so many music listeners in a chokehold, songs like BMF, 30 for 30, and Another Life are some popular tracks off the album that many people on social media are raving about.
We at Spartan Shield encourage you to go listen to this new album and enjoy it to the fullest! SZA is a remarkable artist and LANA is just another album in her stacked discography that keeps millions coming back for more.
