For years there have been women’s rights movements and organizations. We have come a long way in terms of women rights. As soon as the Trump administration came into power, they started threatening women with what they can and can’t do.
It’s no surprise that the Trump administration is declaring that many degrees such as nursing, education and social work as “unprofessional degrees”. The difference between unprofessional and professional degrees are that unprofessional degrees have a smaller loan cap.
This means that people who are going into these degrees won’t be able to take out big loans.To save money Trump is capping the loans to many degrees, most of these degrees are women dominated ones. This makes it harder for women to pay for college, which discourages them from going. This is MAGA’s intention, they want women to go back to being uneducated and getting married young, while having many children.

In fact, a far right political figure by the name of Charlie Kirk said that we should bring back the MRS degree. An MRS degree is a term used for women who go to college just to find a husband. This is a slap in the face to women who want to go to college and actually get an education rather than going just to find a partner.
They are not taking women’s education seriously, they brush it off as saying that the only reason women go to college is to find a husband. Not only that, but they continue to fight to take away women’s reproductive rights. Continually advocating for Pro life without taking women’s health into consideration.
The best way to combat this administration is to pursue a higher education in college along with fighting the Trump administration and continuing to advocate for women’s rights by protesting and spreading awareness.
