There have been no words from Drake since “meet the grahams” and “Not Like Us” dropped. During a guest set at a PartyNextDoor concert in Toronto, Drake announced that they’re planning on releasing an album together. There has been no official release date. Aubrey Drake Graham known under the alias Drake is a 37 year old rapper/singer from Toronto, Canada. A highly acclaimed award winning artist, he is most notably known for creating: “Take Care”, “More Life”, and especially “For All The Dogs”.
Drake dropped his 8th studio album “For All The Dogs” on October 6 2023. The most notable song being First Person Shooter with a feature from 39 year old rapper and producer J. Cole. In this song both of the artists reflect on their continuous success, arguing that J Cole, Drake, and fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar are the “big three” in rap music.
This song provoked a response from the 37 year old Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick Lamar appeared on Future and Metro Boomin’s single, “Like That”, which was released in late-March 2024. In his verse, he responds to Cole and Drake, rapping “Motherf*ck the big three, ni**a. It’s just big me.”
This created a huge war between Drake and Kendrick, with Drake releasing “Push-ups”, followed by Kendrick releasing “Euphoria”, then “6:16 In L.A”. Drake dropped “Family Matters”. Kendrick then dropped “Meet the Grahams” which was the last nail in the coffin.
This solidified everyones negative assumptions about Drake and brought to light new ones. Many fans of Drake and Kendrick online had many similar thoughts about the situation, “@bullcitybaby703” Drake fan on Youtube stated under the “Meet the Grahams” video…
“I listen to this occasionally to just feel grateful it wasn’t directed at me”
…and another Drake fan on TikTok “bloodyyahkubah” stated “Bro I pray this beef is over, because if I find out anything else about drake imma start cryin 😭😭😭😭😭” Kendrick then dropped “Not Like Us’ was a huge hit, this song was like Kendrick dancing on Drake’s grave.

This comes as a surprise since many people thought “meet the grahams” was the end of Drake’s career, a very eerie horrifying song that definitely did some damage to Drake’s reputation, but he has not shown any signs of backing down.
The artist has recently dropped a single called “No Face” on August 31st. Many people on TikTok are looking forward to this new album. Tiktok user “gigiifji” posted a video with the caption “LIFE IS WORTH LIVING AGAIN!!! DRAKE & PARTYNEXTDOOR IS MAKING A COLLAB ALBUM”. This collaboration album may serve as the rapper’s comeback from humiliation.
