After decades of shredding guitars and head banging from Rock and Metal fans around the world, the “Prince of Darkness” is finally saying goodbye to music and stepping off the Crazy Train.
Ozzy Osbourne, who is seen by many as the face and creator of Heavy Metal has announced his final send off with an enormous concert consisting of some of the other faces of Metal and Rock music around the world. Even though he is 76 years old, Ozzy Osbourne still wanted one final send off in his music career spanning over 56 years with his Back to the Beginning Concert right where it all started; The United Kingdom.
Ozzy Osbourne is most known for his massive influence on the Metal Genre of Rock and Roll. Over the years he has been regarded as the Prince of Darkness, creator of Metal, and has entire Rock festivals named after him. Most known for his Ozzfest where dozens of household names in the Rock Genre all meet up and throw ragers.
Ozzy Osbourne has announced his final show dedicated to generating money for charity foundations focused on Parkinson’s Disease studies. This comes to light as Ozzy Osbourne no longer has the ability to walk due to his long battle with Parkinson’s Disease since 2019. This while being deeply saddening to his fans around the world have continued to support him and his final venture in music.
Tickets were around $1000 USD for general admission and are completely sold out! This concert consists of the biggest Metal bands from all over the world. Bands such as Metallica, Tool, Guns N’ Roses, Pantera, Slayer, Alice in Chains, and much more.
Michael Navaro, a Huntington Park High School and Modern Band member, when asked about Ozzy Osbourne’s retirement, these were his thoughts…
“I think Ozzy had a good run and is getting a well deserved retirement, being in Black Sabbath then making his own band”
When asked about his thoughts on this stacked concert lineup he said…
“For me personally I really like this set-list because I’ve listened to all these bands before”
Mr Rodriguez, a Teacher at Huntington Park High School when asked the same questions said…
“I’m surprised he lasted this long… He liked to please the fans, he made a whole new album like 2 years ago in pretty rough conditions to always put music out to his fans. As a fan very thankful…”

Overall metal fans from all ages are feeling all sorts of emotions regarding their beloved Prince of Darkness finally stepping down from his throne. As Ozzy Osbourne puts on that last show and sings his final notes, all music fans around the world can acknowledge his brilliant work and cultural effect on music.
