Journalists and reporters were asking the president Donald Trump why he was blaming the federal diversity and inclusion promotion efforts; he did not back up those claims that were being said.
He was critized by journalists, ”You’re blaming the diversity elements but then told us that you weren’t sure that the controllers made any mistake. You then said perhaps the helicopter pilots were the ones who amde the mistake.”
Trump responded by saying “It’s all under investigation.”
The journalist replied, “I understand that. That’s why I’m trying to figure out how you can come to the conclusion right now that diversity had something to do with this crash.”
Trump responded back “ becauee I have common sense. Ok? And unfortunately, a lot of popele don’t. We want brilliant people doing this.”
Trump decided to start firing people who weren’t “ brilliant” and who were in charge of checking the airlines safety on these planes because he was accusing them for DEI which was making it more unsafe to travel in planes. Trump also stated “ Flying is very safe. We have the safest flying anywhere in the world, and we’ll keep it that way”
