Halloween Horror Nights is a horror themed event at the amusement park Universal Studios. Where there is themed food, mazes, decorated themed houses, scarers, along with halloween merchandise. Usually they show the spotlight on one main horror house and this year it was Terrifier.

When people think of their day being spent in an amusement park they imagine a day full of excitement and cheer. When I visited Halloween Horror Nights, I was accustomed to the long lines and extraneous amounts of people. Usually I would be annoyed with such things such as waiting so long but I was so excited after seeing so many reviews on the Terrifier house. I think when someone is going to be going they should be prepared for long lines and overcrowding since those are very common at the event.
After going for the past three years I have found that when going you must get used to the idea of spending half your time in the lines. I think that they shouldn’t sell so many tickets for one day, but I guess more money for them but it is in clients interests that they sell a smaller amount of tickets a day. It was somewhat a bother for me so I spent more on the express pass which was $260 compared to the $77 general admission.
Some of the houses last year were better because I am a huge Chucky fan and think that his house was my favorite because it showed a lot of the scenes from the movies and series. One thing that I enjoyed throughout all three years was the terror tram which would cruise you around the film sets where they had put up lots of spooky decor and had people around there to scare you.
“I love going to horror events at amusement parks which is why I always enjoy them but the overcrowding may be too much for others” says Briseyda Hernandez.
When I got there the express line was just a bit shorter than the general line, and yes it seemed bothersome but once I got into the Terrifier house I thought it was worth the wait. I loved everything about it: the lights, the scarers, and the enormous amounts of blood that would add to the details of the rooms. There were mists bursting through the air and the nasty smells filling the intense atmosphere.

My favorite houses from the past few years were Chucky, Evil Dead Rise, Terrifier, and Jason. These houses were the ones that stood out the most to me because I feel as if there was more effort put into them. Since these were based on more well-known movies I think they put more focus on these rather than other miscellaneous houses.
As I went through the Fallout house it would have been very helpful to have had more experience in the game and more background knowledge, so overall I would say that fans of Fallout would find more enjoyment out of the house. There were scarers chasing people around and there was lots of spectacular merchandise.
